Constitutions KYO Constitution The KYO Constitution lays down the KYO policies and practices, aims and objectives and structure. These were decided at the first KYO congress in 2001 and updated by later congresses. It is available in S'gaw Karen and Burmese languages only. Dowload a copy below and send your views to KYO Central Executive Committee or post a comment on our discussion forum Federal Constitution for the Union of Burma The Federal Constitution Drafting and Coordinating Committee (comprising members from the Ethnic Nationalities Council) together wrote a Federal Constitution for the Union of Burma in preparation for the end of military rule. Dowload a copy from the Ethnic Nationalities Council website Karen State Constitution Each ethnic state in Burma has also created a State Constitution. The Karen State constitution was drafted by the KNU and has been widely distributed and discussed throughout Karen State. KYO assists with awareness-raising, explanation of the constitution and canvassing of opinions all around Karen State through its large network of offices and youth representatives.
